Herkman plans on joining us as well.

I will provide more detail info on where to meet.

I was just told today that the shop wants to install my cam that week so I have to see how I can make that happen and have the car for Friday.

I orderd the cam on June 7th so you know I have waiting forever.

I'm in FAyetteville too, about 6 miles from the court house on 92 south.

Please keep me posted on the cam. I am shopping around for one. Who is doing the install?

Nice. Herkman said he wanted to start hitting more events, so I guess he's standing by his word.

I hope you'll have your cam installed and be able to make it on the 30th.

Just found out I will have my car back on Thusday.. So I am in..

Yes 5:30 would be the best time to ensure we get in the front of the line..

I also heard that this is the weekend of the Import show as well so we want to make sure we get in first and get the garage parking.

We will do our best to save parking spots for the folks getting there later.

Cruise around the track line up starts at 8:15 and we should not have any problem grouping together for that.

Thanks ZAPSSRS,

I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to make it, and be able to enjoy a new cam.

So we'll just meet in line and get organized from there? Or, do you think we should meet up close to the track and get in line toghether? Maybe that's not necessary. I don't want to be high maintenance, I just haven't been to this event before. I can see the negative in meeting before we get in line. That would leave time that we would not be in line.

So you'll get to enjoy that "new car smell" still, when you get back. Make it back safely. I'm sure the track will still be there. We already know it can survive a tornado.

There will be one entrance into the infield. Drive through that entrance, go under the track, pay your fee, get your armband, and follow the arrows to the garage area where the show-n-shine is.

There are some folks who religiously attend the show-n-show and they stake out the garage bays and are very 'protective' of the bays.

I'd suggest we group in the left or right parking lot along side the garage. These are the areas the show cars park in once the bays fill up. So, whoever gets there first just pick a side and we'll see you once we get to the garage area.

Don't forget your detailing supplies if you want to spruce up your ride for the show.

At the end of the show-n-shine, they will send out the pace cars to start lining up folks for the track laps. They will form groups. We can tell the coordinators we want to take the track together if that's how ya'll want to play it.

Anybody going to enter the drag races? If so, I do believe they will let you take some practice runs either before or during the show-n-shine.
