Got my new Michellin Pilot Sport AS3s today

I know this isn't a new subject but I wanted to share my experience to help others looking for tires.
I called Fred Harz & Son located in Elmer, NJ today at 12:00 p.m. And told them I wanted 4 Michellin tires. They told me to come in and they would have a set sent right over. I got there at 3:00 p.m. and the tires were sitting there. They put them on without one scratch in any of the wheels and 1 1/2 hours later I was on my way home. The cost out the door was $1,413.61. The tires are the Michellin Pilot Sport AS3.

Wow you already went through the Goodyears or are you changing for winter. I too will be looking for a good set for all around use. The Goodyears suck in the rain and my work just took my company vehicle so now my ZL1 is going to be my daily driver.

Man I dont like the tread/sidewall on AS tires...obviously that is what makes them all-seasons but

Goodyear F1 just 'look' WAAAAAY better on our cars
Glad I have a winter vehicle - do not want the All-Season look/feel for my 1LE

But as it is the only vehicle, it makes sense as the F1's are NOT good cold weather tires at all - ha!

PS - your avatar cracks me up - tires shops around here are actually inside on have lifts ha

These tires have satisfied me. Dry they are (just a guess) about 90% of what the goodyears are. Wet the edge goes to the A/S 3. These are the perfect tire for the 1LE for those that need to drive their car year round. I have had them for a few weeks and have over a 1000 miles on them. The around town and highway ride have softened a bit. I suspect it is because of the sidewall flexing. Something that can be felt in HARD cornering. These tires seem a bit quieter on the car as well. I have tested in the rain to 150 mph, something I would never consider with the goodyears... car was PLANTED!! But no, this is not your trackday tire if you are a 8/10 driver plus. The rest of us want to be(s) could have fun even at trackday with these tires. The real plus for me is value.... these tires are rated at 45,000 miles... if they last me half of that I am way ahead of the game. Costco did mine for a tad over 1300... which was also a big win. Michelin was offerings a 75 dollar a set rebate and Costco did a perfect job on the install and included free nitrogen service and threw in free road hazard. Get these tires!!

One is all season and the other a high performance summer tire.
