Estimated zero to sixty at 3.3 to 3.5? No way! Possibly 3.7. I definitely don't think this is a "hellcat killer". Remember the Hellcat is actually pushing around 750 crank hp not 707 hp. We shall see. Thoughts?

That is Nissan GT-R numbers. Don't think it will be anywhere close to 10.9 on stock tires.

It was reported today that there is a run on kitty litter. The fat kitty owners all shat themselves.

It is definitely possible. Check the C5 Fast List. There are a handful of guys on here that have run 11.5's bone stock. More power and less weight in the Gen 6 over the Gen 5...I could see a sub-11 quarter mile.

Why are people worried about HC. Worry about your car and your driving abilities.

Great looking car, but that cheap looking rear spoiler would be the first thing I get rid of.

You shouldn't be worried. Someone will always be faster. Always.

Lets see, it will be lighter than the GTR. 10 speed auto transmission to match or best the GTRs tranny (we already know how well the 8-speed auto is working on the z06 and ss models). Finally, it will have a more powerful engine.

I think there is a good chance that it can touch 10s bone stock, on a track with great prep and DA.

Every time I hear/see a grown man refer to the Hellcat as a "kitty", I see nothing but insecurity...

I agree. Rear spoiler would be my first mod. Easy fix though!

Challenger is 3.8 0-60. How is a 3.7 or lower not faster? Especially with being like 600 pounds lighter...

So it will have a "limited slip differential like the Z06". What would the durability of this unit be at the strip? The current ZL1 has a 144 lb. pumpkin that holds a 9+ inch ring gear I believe. This unit is proven to hold big HP and handle many launches. How does the C6 compare on durability? I don't seem to read much about it. I won't "upgrade" to anything until I know the rear end won't implode like so many of the C5 SS rear ends.

Agreed. Without AWD it will not run high tens like a Porsche Turbo S or Nissan Nismo GT-R do on street tires. I'm going to say mid 11's, since most previous stock ZL1's on street tires were 12-12.5 cars.
