2017 50th Anniversary Camaro

Went to the Barrett Jackson Auction on Friday, saw the 50th Anniversary Camaro up front and personal; I am still drooling.

Its nice, but I'll never get over the styling of the exterior and I've already got those colors, well close enough.

Very nice but is that cow catcher up front or what? Oh, the straight on view is better...

It'll be interesting to see if the 'thrill is gone' for the gen 6, even if it's a "Fifty." You know you'll pay a premium to have the first ones and it'll will always be associated with one particular year. I know every car is but I didn't feel quite the same about my 45th when it was 47 years old, if that makes sense. Especially knowing a 50th was bound to come. We'll see...

To Each His Own...

Thanks for the pictures. That saves me a bunch of money.

I had one of the first '67 Rally Sport convertibles and loved it.
I was considering a 50th anniversary special. But that thing is Fugly!

I'll just keep my '15.

I was at my local dealer on Saturday and saw a 2016 SS/RS up close in Summit White. It had upgrades to the interior, quad tips, and pretty much all the goodies. I hadn't really liked the Gen 6 that much but this car was absolutely stunning. Price tag was $46,500.

The service manager joked that all I had to do was sign a piece of paper and it was mine. Ha! If I had brought that car home I would have been signing another piece of paper. I resisted, but it was really nice. (and I'm still thinking about it)
