Valve Cover Paint/Logos
Has anyone found any sort of replacement decals, logos, paint stencils, etc to touch up the valve covers?
I Capital-S suck with a paint brush but if there wondered if anyone had come across an alternate method that was less involved than paying a professional to paint a few letters red. |

Yeah, cool stuff, but the paint peel doesnt bother me. It is extremely hot under the hood and those covers act as a heat catch. Not surprising, and doesnt bother me. 600$ for a set is 2.5 track day registrations.

Yeah..... I'm thinking 1 of 3 options.
Cheap decal/badge option - $20ish (if available) Leave Valve covers as they are - Free Remove Valve covers - Also Free |

Drip tray is gone already.... valve covers probable gonna get pulled as well unless I can find a "reasonable" fix for the lettering.

Just my opinion , , , Until you get a rain tray , that is if you're planning on , I would put them back on every time you washed your car and then take them off when you're finished . like everyone else says all they do is hold Heat those coils can get as hot as 180 degrees or more underneath that hood

I have toyed with the notion of cutting slits in mine to allow the heat to escape easier. Haven't done it yet. But, I also don't mind look at my coils/wiring. More concerned with what it puts down, not what it looks like. And whoever decided to use cheap paint on these coil covers needs to be reprimanded lol.

I did the hydrocarbon covers for now on my Z/28. My Z06 dropped a valve and destroyed the motor. I’m now in the process of putting a new motor in. I decide to go with Kaytech valve covers and coil relocation kit and ditch the covers. Much more expensive however. I think the whole set up was around 900. |
