Question about alignment parts when lowering the car

I am getting ready to put on the Hotchkis Track Pack and have a question. Brett from BMR this might be for you! I am also wanting to buy the BMR rear trailing arms and new BMR toe rods. Will it be necessary for me to buy the adjustable toe rods or will I be able to get my alignment issues handled with the non adjustable parts. If I am able to get the correct settings with the non-adjustable parts then it seems like a more secure option and is a little cheaper. Plus I know BMR is actively producing many new parts for the near future and anywhere I can save money = more BMR components for the future. Geez....it never stops hitting my wallet.....lol Thanks for any info....Also, just a stupid question but I know OEM = stack equipment, but what does the letters "OEM" actually stand for

I know this stuff has probably been asked many times on here b4, but I did not find it...sorry for the repost of the same old stuff!

Thank You Guys/Gals!

Hi Moultron, I cant help you with your Hotchkis/BMR specific questions, but OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer (Stock components). Hope that helps!

Usually toe doesn't present too much of a problem. Most of the times the OE slots provide enough adjustment to get the recommended toe settings. Camber is another story. Unless the car is lowered significantly, you can usually get within OE specs but you are not usually able to get aggressive alignment settings without resorting to a camber bolt or adjustable control arm. Neither of the items listed (Toe rods, trailing arms) control camber adjustment so you could get non-adjustable versions and be fine....
