If I wasn't so into Talk radio, and the great programming that is offered on XM, I would dump them in a second.. Because they are so shady with their billing.

i just signed up for 6 months for 35 bucks, and I got a notice the other day for 1 year for 77 bucks. Im gonna keep letting my subscription expire and then let them cut me a killer deal to come back, might be out of service for a month or so here and there but thats when the ipod comes in.

I went home to my parents this weekend and had a $465 bill waiting for me there. Just called and got it canceled. Tried to offer me a year at half off and then 5months for $25. I think he was going to keep going but I was just like look... how do I know you're not going to do this to me again? He said "oh, we won't" and I just said "yea, that's what they said last time. I just want to cancel" and he said OK. We shall see. I'm almost expecting a collections agency to call looking for that $465 heh. Maybe if they have some insane deal I'll take em back but $25/5 months (I'm sure that's not including the ridiculous royalty fees) isn't quite good enough. Looks I'll be sticking to the iPod.

I just don't think the XM sounds all that good. My iPod sounds a whole lot better. I will not be renewing XM unless I get an amazing bargain from them. I wish I didn't have to start the XM as soon as I got my car. It's going to sit in the garage for the first few months until the winter is over and my 3 mo. trial of XM will be over.

XM wanted to give me an extra month for $.99, and then I remembered some horror stories about once they got your card. All I really use them for is the comedy, but I doubt I'll be renewing anything. |

I called and took my card off their records, they stated that invoice billing would be an additional $2.00 charge...So they are biling me to bill me? WTF... Legalsounds.com charges .09 cents a song. I may just download 900 songs for the $95.00 that even the $77.00 annual special would cost after royalties. I just usually listen to 80's 90% of the time. If I listened to talk radio or something then it may be a different story.

I have never had any problems with them and my card. When I canceled after selling my Sky, I even got a refund (which i didn't understand since I was getting 3 months for free and had not been charged anything for the previous 4 months...) No charges since.

I haven't had much trouble with billing in any of the cars. I did cancel for my old car back in august and got free xm until i traded her in last month. Still no bill/charges. I couldn't listen online but still had signal in my car. Weird.

Glad I read all these posts, they sent me a 5 month for $19.99 or 1 year for $77.00, so that's 15 months for $59.97 or 12 months for $77.00, this $19.99 for 5 months is probably a scam to.
