Ok. ZL1 fuel pump with my BAP.
Yes or no? I'm installing it now but can swap it out later if needed. Can't send it back as it was a friend who hooked me up. |

I have the BAP already in place so it should boost the ZL1 pump the same way it boosted the stock one. Only a retune with the controller. Unless I heard wrong? Retuning it anyway because I have 85# injectors coming. But I plan on driving the car to the tuner and swapping injectors there. Depending on how the bigger cam drives with no changes to the tune. The z pump flows more fuel and needs the computer to tell it how much.
The bap used boost signal in increase the voltage on the stock pump to increase fuel flow. Both require input from computer and sensors. Fingers crossed.... Lol damn spit water across the room.

i forgot the blower's just sitting on the work bench. are the ports on the bottom of yours rectangle or triangle shaped? i'm thinking yours is the newer rectangle. if not, you may as well port them out to rectangles if they ain't. flows about 30-34cfm more.
i should probably stop reading this thread... seems like every time i do, the good idea fairy tries to take over my posts.

I'm with Pete here. New motor + unknown amount of fuel= could be bad. Want to break it in properly.
I still say mail in tune from janetty since there's no good shops around. Can all be done from your phone. Still need a laptop for a proper datalog, but can get it broken and and totally drivable without.

my suggestion was that since i have a set of underdrive/overdrive 10rib pulleys on mine (3.0 and 3.49) & have been looking at swapping to 1:1, i'll trade you my 3.49 for your 3.0 if it works for you & you like it, great! if not, then i'll trade you back. ...or did you already understand all that & want to know what the pulley comparisons meant?

I'll trailer it to Pensacola. JRE does not know exactly what I have in it. It's not a typical set-up. Quote:
My belt is older than yours though. Can't promise that it is or isn't a problem. Should be just fine though. Then, if I still can't spin it fast enough, I can bite the bullet and go with a cog set up. |

If you're trailering to FL you might as well hit up Matt @ FSP. He remote tunes as well.
