Ok…I’ll chime in…old enough to remember not only having the attendant pump the gas but, check the oil and clean your windshield. And gas was WAY cheaper!

Same here. Heck we could put $1 of gas in the car and cruise all weekend long.

And oh by the way, the switch for high beams was on the floor.

Even farther back, before I could drive, I remember the starter button on the family car, being on the floor, too.
