Got her out for the first time yesterday! Dropped it off for the alignment after the 1LE suspension install.

Did not get on it or push it at all on the way there, as the alignment was WAY off. But it certainly felt "tighter" and stiffer.

Next is getting the X pipe welded in, and possibly get some catless downpipes.

Oh, ordered HID's for the fogs and headlights as well.

Hey when you upgraded your brakes to the Brembos, did you bleed it by yourself with like a one man brake bleeder, or did you have someone manually pump the pedal?

I had help.

That being said, putting on new pads, rotors, and the SS Master cylinder next weekend, with a full flush and bleed again.

Got to drive it today for the first time after the alignment. Holy. Crap.

1LE suspension changes the entire car. Plants and go's. Can break it loose if i want as well. Very controllable, but...planted. Feels like it is putting a lot more power to the ground as well.

Had an O2 Bung welded in as well, as I am having a wide band put in for tuning next week.

Awesome! I already have all the sway bar links and zl1 toe arms. I'll be buying the 1le struts and sways soon so I am glad to hear it's gonna be worth it

Sways are by far the biggest difference. Get those first.

Picked up a BMR Strut Tower brace for a good price from a member on here. Should tie the underhood together nicely!

Just got back from a 450 mile road trip after the 1LE suspension and Pedders alignment was put on.

All I can say is wow. Car handles like a dream. Initial steering seems a little lacking, but once you initiate a turn, it hooks and goes. Car is extremely planted, and very stiff, but not uncomfortable.

I do need wider rear tires, or a square all around setup.

Also had the Magnaflow 11386 put in, and that made the car sound so much better. no more drone, or cackle.

BMR Strut tower brace shows up today. Then I think I want to get a 1LE/ZL1 steering wheel, and do a rear seat delete.

Man, you and I are pretty much neck and neck with mods and ideas. Well, you shot ahead of me with the suspension, but still! Great project!

Haha, thanks. I would have twinned it already, but the wife put the hammer down on that. Said no more big projects till we sell the house and move.

Sucks, but, I want a garage, so I guess thats a plus.

Yeah, the wife killed that idea for me now too, haha....at least until we buy a house. We have a garage right now, but half of it holds a 70 charger and a ton of parts, the other half....workbenches and tool/part storage.

Been able to get a bit of work done to my winter beater as well... lifted 04 GMC canyon. Just put a K&N CAI on it, and need to do a ball joint flip and get the ABS sensor re-done.

I got the 1le steering wheel, shifter and boot and love them. Really nice feel, def a nice touch
