Boston Acoustics sound system

What do you guys think of our sound system? I personally like it, if you configure it in the tone section you can make it sound pretty unique

Not a fan. My 2005 monte carlo has better bass Only thing im really jealous about the 6th gen camaro is that they went to bose. Our 2003 Tahoe has bose and it sounds so much better.

62 years of LOUD rock & roll, Who and Ted Nugent concerts, playing a Les Paul thru a Marshall half stack, shop noise like grinders, abrasive saws, guns and driving with windows down - “2-60 A/C” and I have CHS (can’t hear shit) Sounds ok to me!

First time owning an auto with BA, was not impressed at all. No low end and the output of the stock amp is terrible.

I agree. It sounds good if it was called the base stereo equipment. As a big upgrade it isn't to my ears.
I added the OEM optional kicker powered sub I put in a thread, here is an example of it:
https://www.amazon.com/Kicker-SCAMA1.../dp/B00IFA8JU0
I did not order it through amazon.
I also got some Infinity speakers I haven't yet installed which I think will bring it up to an adequate sound for my preferences and value per $.
I've had too much stolen from my cars to go that equalizer amps head units route again.

This ‘low end’ is pure electronics anyway, in my opinion. Bass guitars and bass drums - the real stuff of real music, are not down in that register anyway. But I get P Diddy and 50 Cent weren’t playing those instruments in the first place. What I’m saying is the system we have reproduces music made with INSTRUMENTS pretty well. Guess I’m an old purest, fuddy duddy.

I also added a box with 2 Kicker subs and a Kenwood amp with a gain control. It sounds much better.

I added the RF 10" self-powered amp to my base non BA system and it sounds great!

My old Mustang had a way better sound system, and when I say old I mean 2005, so ten years later and this is not a patch on it.

Mine sounds good at low to moderate volume but fades out too quickly at higher volume and goes flat. Better sounding than the Bose in my Silverado at lower levels but my truck can take more before going flat. Definitely better than the Mach sound systems that my mustangs had...'01 and '03. My wife's 2012 Altima SR with the Bose sounds way better than all of the above hands down.
