i agree with GMs view. it is needed to cut these things to save money. even though there is a potential to loose money from cutting them

It's not like the Movie won't be the biggest commercial ever made. Good move I say.

Citing the downturn in the economy and their focus on cost cutting as the reasons behind the decision not to allocate marketing dollars on the film that showcases some of of GM's newest models.

Due to recent changes aimed at keeping the struggling auto manufacturer from folding altogether.

Even with a dominating presence in the movie that includes such models as the Concept Camaro, Concept Corvette, their electric car the Volt, and other models showing off the New direction GM is headed in.
That was just annoying to read...

I saw the car in the movie...

I can't remember commercials showcasing the car. The movie is where I was sold.

I think the movie will be good advertisement, but I sure hope they start some advertisement other than pace cars or transformers movies. They need some commercials IMO, sure hope to see some soon.

LOL, I agree. On a forum, who cares. But if your writing an article, you better get it right!

Journalists are supposed to be respected writers. The quality of their writing, however, is so frequently questionable. They all read the same, and they all read miserable.
