no noise... i am hopeful the engine is ok. I think if the oil analysis is good, then I wont worry about it.

its just the pain in the ass it is to change the oil pump. hours and hours of labor...

Randy... get up to Michigan... maybe we can do it with a pully, maple tree and a cresent wrench at my house. haha

just got a call from Owen @ ARD who just bitch slapped me with some knowledge....

this can be done easily with the a few key tricks and a welder. Looks like we might be digging in and checking that oil pump a little sooner than I was expecting.

I think they definitely should've changed the oil pump. Look at a Melling.
12 step.... yea.. is that a dance? I like to have fun.

Melling 10296 is shipping today.
I hope we can identify the problem when we get in there.

While I absolutely think you should switch to a melling anyway over the stock LS3 pump I'd like to see you verify the oil pump as the culprit. Might just be a blockage.

Screw the oil filter off too. See if it's full.

If you can get it going yourself will you bring it?

yes.. we will validate that the oil pump does not work. thats why i just bought this without much thought.. because it should be changed.
(i only think its still stock.... ?)

According to Cody, they check for oil pressure in a couple locations to assure it was not a blockage, and they were not getting oil anywhere.

Just looked at my invoice from HKE. Melling 10296 hi volume pump was on the list as part of the build. You should be good now!....if the pump was the culprit.
