Track a Ferrari 458 Italia? or Ferrari F430 Scuderia?
If you had the option.
Only one or the other which would you rather track a Ferrari 458 Italia? or Ferrari F430 Scuderia? I know a 458 Italia is 5 years new and more powerful, but the F430 Scuderia is a factory built track car. (the 458 has the Speciale but I do not have the opportunity to drive it) Which would you? And why? |

Here are a couple pic's. Check out the price sticker from the window....the stripe is a $8264 option !! He bought the car cash on the condition they knocked off the price of it (stripe), they (at the Wynne) hadn't sold a car in a couple months so it was a done deal. It's real close but I would opt for the 458. The F430 (non-Scuderia) is a brilliant car all around but the 458 has a better transmission and more punch. Handling wise I dont think you'll be able to tell the difference--I know I can't. They will both be epic.
Let me warn you though: the F430 will bite you if you're not careful with the throttle. |

The 430 is an amazing car, but the 458 is what they came up with after applying everything they learned from the 430.

I have driven a 458 on track, and it was simply AWESOME! The passenger recorded the ride and it looked like it was in fast forward. The 458 remains one of the most amazing and fastest cars I have ever driven on track, nd I have driven a LOT of cars on track.
Just FYI, I worked as a performance/security driving instructor and currently am the motorsports coordinator/ program manager for our in house HPDE program at Summit Point Motorsports Park in West by God Virginia. I have been privileged enough to drive some great Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis, and others. Recently got to drive both a 1970 Boss 302 and 1969 Camaro Z/28. I drive to work everyday with a HUGE smile on my face!

I drove a 458 on track and it was awesome. I was not disappointed. Never drive the 430 though so nothing to compare to...
