For sale: LS7 low miles

I have an LS7 for sale that I bought used out of a running car. Motor is mostly complete with everything but a few missing items, like the dry sump tank and computer. Engine has 3,000 miles and is bone stock. I haven't had it long and am going in a different direction. Asking $9,000 shipped. Pictures coming soon.
I am a new member, but I am not trying to scam anybody.

I know it looks fishy, but I'm legit. I'll have pics up soon, as soon as I can get down to my storage facility.

It's a GM LS7 from a 2012 Corvette Z06.

Picked up price $8,500. I bought the engine as a spare. Came out of a non wrecked running car. Its been in storage for the last 2 months. Engine is in awesome shape. Didnt ask the guy who I bought it from too many questions, I believe he was doing an LS9 swap from what I remember him telling me. Didnt know if that was even possible but he sold me the engine for $9,000 and I thought that was a great price so I didnt want to talk him out of it....

His car was a 2012 Z06 with 3,000 miles. He showed me the odometer.

Im selling because I put a warranty on my Z06 for only $2,500 for 4 years through Vehicle 1. I didnt think I could get that warranty but the dealership sold it to me even though my 06 Z06 is out of warranty. Now I want my money back or close to it on the motor. Its in my storage facility and Ive been really busy lately at work and havent had a chance to get down there. You wont be dissapointed with the motor. Its a beautiful engine, like new, stock, low miles, LS7 with NO issues.

How about a picture......
Ya know.....LS7s aren't worth what they used to be, with all the valve/guide failures....I've seen low mileage ones on the corvette forum for months at $7K with no bites.

The heads fixed (costs $900 to fix em) are only worth $2K...so its even tough to part em out.

Good Luck....

Now if you had an LS3 short block...I'd be interested in that.

This is a 2012 ls7, if you took the heads off to "fix" them, you'd be throwing $1-2 thousand in the garbage. This motor is ready to run a long healthy good life. And the "fix" isn't even agreed upon. Katech says bronze guides are all you need WCCH says you need SS valves. Noone agrees. I agree with what GM engineers put a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty behind: the stock setup.

Valves are snapping on all year LS7s regardless of mileage...it isn't consistent.
And bronze guides and SS valves which eliminates the problem is about a $900 job.....then you have a good LS7.....but you know that....because you know of Katech's and WCCH's points of view.

So how about a picture?

Have you advertised it on CF?

You may want to try racingjunk.com or LS1Tech.com (is free).
