First time Camaro owner, long time fan... needs advice
Hey all,
I'm a 23 year old sailor in the Navy who has been a long time Camaro fan and finally got my hands on a yellow 2010 SS Camaro. I've loving how it handles, runs, and just love it for being a Chevy Camaro. Anways, to the point of my post. I want to add to it to give it that muscle car look and feel, and accentuate it's greatness. This will be my first time modifying a car, as they say, and I want to do the car justice... without getting too over excited and take away from it but I really have no ideas. Any advice? It's already turning heads, but I want it to really stand out. Already I am pricing out window tinting, the black rally stripes (wasn't my original intention to get a Bumble Bee, but I figure it's cheaper than having the whole thing painted again), and perhaps getting leather seats, and considering getting higher density discharge headlights. But after that... I really have no idea what to do. I'm thinking it's the subtle details that will make this car standout, and that's what I think I am looking for. I'd also love to hear any mechanical modification suggestions as well! Thanks all! -S |

Yeah, I found this site today after bringing it home yesterday. I've already found some decent ideas, but to be honest... I'm not entirely sure all what I want to do with it.

Welcome, thanks for your Service to our Country and good luck with your ride.
I'd start with the "Official Color Thread" for Rally Yellow - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5214 to get some ideas from pictures from other RY owners. Then use Search on the word(s) for what you're interested in learning more about - I've found search works best at narrowing the threads to what I need." Finally the Wiki section http://www.camaro5.com/forums/wiki.p...lt:CAMARO+WIKI has all the relevant info on the Camaro and links to aftermarket vendors. Use search again to look for members who have used these vendors and what they like/dislike about the products, you'll see we're not shy but mostly respectful in the comments. Enjoy!
