I got my eye on the red 2014 z28 hopefully it doesn’t go for much. Want to build it up slow but will see what happens.

I would think a piece of Kevlar matting and some repair epoxy (like for fiberglass) would keep the bumpers from being cut so easy, if at all. And, it would be a mod noone would see.

This is car # 526 that was stripped. Put it back together with a crashed doner Z/28. Also have two more in the works.

Yep. I always tell people from NYC and other areas where honking your horn at others is quite common to not do that in Texas. Do that here and someone may shoot you. Just last night 2 people tried jacking a car in Dallas and both of them got shot.

I tell people the same thing here. All the time on the news I see random stuff like that in Michigan (Lets be honest, Detroit) and I'm like people get shot for that in TX.

SO, my question again. If it starts with cutting the bumper cover to get to the horns why not line the inside with Kevlar or similar material? Even if it just slows the process maybe it would be enough for them to give up on it.

Not always that simple. There was a white ZL1 stolen, his garage cam caught it..you can see in his hand he had a new ECM, got in, popped the hood, pulled the ECM swapped the new one.he was gone in a minute or so.
