Are the Vararam intakes (tune only) supposed to have a Wicker bill in them? I installed my Vararam a couple days ago and I didn't see anything in it. Does anyone have a picture of the Wickerbill everyone keeps mentioning?

Thanks Kirk!

SGO, i put up a picture of it on the "If youve gotten your VR PM" thread

It looks like a gasket that lines the housing of the filter side of the intake.

NEWAGEMUSCLE

How about some feedback on how it feels vs the Rotofab?

Don't pay this clown any mind, Kirk. I call him *ready, fire, then aim [Wayne]* lol. Being that I myself owned a Vararam prior and ended up selling it for an ADM, I can speak from experience...without bad-mouthing Vararam. They're class "A" guys, and even though I feel the engineering of their unit could have been a bit better with MAF placement, you won't find me lashing out at them.
Also, I've delt with you and Vector and I've been nothing but pleased with your service ans expertise...keep the good stuff coming!

They did not do a base line because, I, the owner of the car showed up for testing with my roto-fab on the car and forgot to bring my stock air box. What is with all the conspiracy theory here? I am bringing the car back next weekend, so you will have a baseline before and after.

How about a review of the rotofab/VR

and doesnt VR state 100 miles should be logged before a tune?

I think the 100 miles is for cars not being tuned. It takes a while for cars not being tuned to adjust to the intake.

What was the dyno difference between these two?

To be honest, When I went on a test drive I could not tell the difference between the two. I personally like the looks, fit, and finish of the roto-fab much better. Just my opinion. That is what I have decidded to go with. On the dyno both put down almost exactly the same numbers. So for those telling you that the Vararam is going to give you that much more HP are full of BS. I saw it with my own eyes. Both were tested back to back on the same car

cool..
I think the misleading thing is that Vararam says it makes so much more power but half that power is coming from the tune not the intake. So its not wrong in how much power it is going to make just confusing.

Outstanding sir. Thank you for the info. It just confirmed what the majority of all of us had suspected from the beginning.
