Bonneville 100 June 26th, anyone else?

Is anyone going or doing the Bonneville 100 this weekend in Wendover, NV? I didn't get a harness bar in time so I'm doing the Touring Class of 110mph. If you're in the neighborhood, I'll be there.

We go for the BUB speed week at the end of August for the bikes and streamliners. I wouldn't take my car out on the salt!

Its an Open Road Race, where they close NV State road 93A for 50 miles. www.openroadracing.com

I live close by and might just go to hang out. Last I heard it was like $1200 to enter and no open class. That was afew years ago though.

Next time I will be in a higher class with a Navigator and try the 125mph Class. I have the unofficial results by my crappy timer. I've finished the Southbound Leg of 51.65 miles at 28:03:430 and target time of 28:10:364. Northbound Leg of 49.95 miles at 27:16:50 and traget time of 27:14:727. I blew the time by being almost 7 seconds fast. Either way I had a blast.

Here's a vid from one of my practice runs, this was the North bound leg on 93A. Car can easily push pass 130 thru some of the turns, some turns were taken 120+. I couldn't pass 124mph so you can hear me lift off the throttle on some turns, especially during the down hill runs.

Had to snap the pictures before the race. We had to get on the road back to San Diego right after the race. We managed to get to a truck stop on 93 and I-15 by 10pm on saturday. Gased up, ate and we were home by 3am and it was a loooong day. Still, the fun factor was a 12 out of 10. I so many people take pictures of the car parked or on the road. We went thru Caliente, NV and made two teens jaw drop and dance in circle when we went by them. Here a some vid from the German Rookie, I go by at 6:05 of his video.
