Np. It just sounded weird. All cars with batteries and alternators can have problems. I owned 2 5th gen Camaro’s , no trouble with charging or electrical system. So I don’t know what you’re talking about?

your charging issue can be as simple as a wire arcing/grounding somewhere in/on the body

Let's help you out: Do you have any electrical modifications done to the car? Aftermarket stereo, lighting, alarm?

The problem that i have is when i start the car its fine its when i put a load on it like the a/c it drops the volts to 12.5 sometimes to 11.9

Im going to assume you lighting mod is fused properly ESPECIALLY since you have it connected directly to the baterry. With that said, it sounds like you have a short and im willing to bet its a wire that has somehow become uninsulated and is grounding on the body of the car somewhere

Here is a good video on how to find a short easily

Focus on the last part of the video

Check the grounds in the trunk use a wire wheel or wire brush to make sure the connection is clean all on grounds and the positive connection points both in engine bay and in the trunk

well a switch is not a fuse. you might wanna check into that.

also, check the AMP rating of your switch and the AMP requirements of your lighting mod. The AMP rating of your switch HAS TO BE greater than the amp requirements of the lighting otherwise electricity will find the least resistance (the switch) and **** around with all kinds of shit up there
