How do I remove panel under steering wheel? Camaro 2012 SS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I need to get to the light switch and need to remove the plastic panel under the steering wheel. I have removed all screws and bults I can see but how to losen the panel? Just to pull down and out to remove? Or have I missed something? Great if there is a guide, but haven't find any.

This is done:

Removed the 2 screws under the panel (should be 3 but seems like one is missing).
Removed the plastic part around the steering wheel to get access to the 2 screws beside the steering wheel holding the plastic panel I want to remove.
Removed the 7 bolt under plastic panel attached to the plastic air channel.

I think it comes off after the screws are removed but it has a pretty tough clip in the center of the column behind the steering wheel.

Thank you! Still have the monster. Gave it to my son to drive. Of course I still take it out once in a while. Getting my new garage prepared for the vette. Checking into flooring at the moment. My vette is very close to your color
