started getting Advertising Pop ups from C5

Should I see these? I check my PC for viruses and check another PC and seeing it on both. These are annoying and could be something to drive people away.
I checked both PCs out and they are clean.

I am guessing you have a pirate ware or something like it on your computer... It doesn't happen on mine, though it has in the past with a different laptop... ... Very annoying...

I finally had to take it in to get rid of it...

Good Luck...

I am not personally aware of any pop-ups that the admin has ok'd. If that is simply being blocked by my browser, then Tran or Mark ... please chime in.

If its not from us, its some form of malware. My weapon of choice for that is Malwarebytes, they catch most things. You can also get free trials/tools from most of the reputable anti-virus companies. Additionally, check sites like Cnet.com for software they recomend for your operating system.

Malwarebytes is pretty good catching most stuff, if not google the pop up, there are most likely sites that will tell you how to manual remove the annoyance
