Converting FE3 to FE6 Swaybar and Link connection question
I searched and couldn't find the answer. Sorry if this is a no-brainier or has already been discussed, I'm no expert.
I'm swapping my FE4 front struts to new FE6 (1LE) front struts and just want to be sure I don't require anything that I don't have. Specifically, will there be any issues connecting the "Swaybar Link" to the new strut? I've borrowed a picture from wretchedms.com and circled the connecting point I'm unsure about. Any help will be appreciated!

I would direct this question to JDP Tyler (888-308-6007) at JDP Motorsports. If he doesn't know for sure, he can find out !

Thanks for the recommendation Ventmaster!
The 1LE Struts will have a 12mm hole for the endlinks vs 10mm on the older style. (2010-mid2012) What sway bars do you have OmniCamaro? Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I just drilled out the holes on the strut to accommodate the bigger size of endlinks.
Also, you'll need 4 new nuts that will fit the new endlink

The install instructions cover a lot of the 2010/2011 needed changes to install FE6 courtesy Pace Performance:

I think you've got it backwards for me. I'm currently putting new struts with old links. I believe I would have the strut hole larger than the link connector. Well, I'm probably going to upgrade things instead of having to worry about all that, but still good to know. Thanks.

The Detroit speed endlinks are really the best option for this scenario. They come with 10mm studs and sleeves to slide over the stud if you have 12mm holes; that way, they can accommodate either style. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

What if I were to get ZL1 front & rear sway bars and end links? That should work fine for the front correct?
Now I have rear issues? What would I need to make the rears fit, if anything?
