Header install question.
I have been looking for confirmation whether you can easily install LS3/99 headers with the car on jack stands? I don't have access to host. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Yes, easily. Jacked the rear up as well, did headers and full exhaust. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=216262

Did my LT headers this summer with the front on 10" ramps and the back tires sitting on about a 3" tall stack of wood plywood. This is on my 1LE. No issues at all. Wouldn't want to do it any lower than that though. So if your jack stands will raise the front of the body at least 10", you should be just fine.

took me 1.5hrs to do them on stands. I took the plugs out too. The oil dipstick tube is a pain to find the hole to put it back in.

Make sure your engine is a little warm because when I did mine one bolt stripped and was stuck in the block.
However, me being me I sat there for a hour turning the damn thread with vice grips with the littlest space possible.but it was worth it at the end P.s based on what brand headers you will get will determine if it will be easy or not because the clearance will change a little with each header.

I did it on jack stand. Be sure to jack the car as high as you can. Be safe and put jackstand as many as you need. My 2" headers needed some hammer smoothing on the heat shield. Take your time and enjoy. Remove spark plug as precaution too.

I also did mine on jack stands. The O2s gave me a fit.

jack stands here. like mentioned above the O2 censors were a beast to get out. GM stripped the threads and jammed them on making it almost impossible to work with. a second set of hands will help wonders as well
