Pray Ported IM/TB worth it?

I’m planning on doing the e-85 sensor kit and dyno tune on my otherwise stock SS. My question is whether or not I should do a Pray ported IM/TB combo before I have the tune. What would I gain by spending the extra $550 for the Pray kit? Is it worth the extra cost or should I skip it for now. The only mod right now is an AFE CF cai with the track pro filter, stock exhaust with Solo NPP delete axleback.

i think its worth it for a bolt on car. every little bit helps. I bought a used intake and TB and sent it to him to port. now im just patiently waiting to get them back. lol

Who’s doing the tune for those, is he doing it remotely, and what kind of power you hoping to get?

No tune needed for porting the stock components. If a tune is wanted Brett Prayporting can do a remote tune or you can have it dyno tuned. I also wonder what gains can be had and also how it affects drive ability. Hoping someone posts from first hand experiences and if the $550 is worth it for a stock setup. I am planning to do e-85 and a tune and wondering if this is a good use of money to enhance the outcome of the tune.

Tune isn't required but will definitely help. It's worth the money for sure if staying basic bolt-ons. If you plan on going heads/cam then just get a ported MSD now with 95 LT5 TB.

I had Prays ported TB/IM, Roto fab dry, E85 flex tune, CA performance cat deletes. With a 305/35/20 555r tire the car 0-60 3.5 and ran 11.4 according to the performance page on a non prepped road. I dropped 6 tenths off my ET just from the tire.

I don't have pray's stuff but I have Tony Mamo TB and Frankenstein ported Intake manifold and rest of car is stock. No clue how much power I gained but I went from losing by a car to my buddies e85 bolt on 15 mustang to being dead even with him. Butt dyno also noticed a change in throttle response and upper rpm power. Doesn't seem to fall on its face as much up top.

Good to hear! Mine also seems to fall on its face at higher rpms, Low end torque is great!
