Hello, any chance of finding pre-made hoses with connectors that go in/out of the thermostat?
Could you please advise any link or part numbers? There are two hoses input / output of the thermostat. Each of these is divided into 2 parts by means of a connector. On rockauto I can only find hoses that I need to cut by myself, and without connectors. V8 engine |

Need more information. Are you referring to the hoses that go to the heater core? What connectors are you talking about? Are you trying to reroute the hoses so they don't lay on top of the intake manifold?

I just went to the parts store and bought straight hose and cut it to length. That's essentially what the Katech hose relocation kit does. This allowed me to tuck it behind the passenger side heat shield and get it out of the way.

I would like to use factory OEM hoses (if they are) rather than using the ones sold by length (it's the last step). ![]() ![]() |

Could you please see the attached images above ? I marked with red the hoses and connectors on attached photos. Do I have any chance to find the OEM part numbers of these hoses assemblies ?

Do your hoses route under the engine cover or go through the heat shield beside the exhaust manifold?

If it's a 2011, they should run on top of the intake, but lots of guys (me included) switch to the 2012 and later hose with the aluminum section that runs down by the manifold.

Yeah that's what I thought. Is it a real pain to switch it over?

I relocated mine with Gates hoses. You'll want to carefully cut the hoses, especially at the heater core. It appears GM used a sealant on the connections. Twisting too much could damage the heater core. I tried to twist them off because I wanted to save them. I gave up and cut them.

These came with a GM part number on mine. I think they're the ones for all '12+ Camaros. These guys are just selling them as an upgrade because of people like you and me who want to get the heat off of their intake manifolds.

^^^^ This
GM part number on Rock Auto is GM GENUINE 22962570. I found them under the 2012 ZL1 section. It's a PITA to get the heater core end off and back on, but worth it IMO.
