Jegg's may be mistaken. It appears to me just as with the hi rise and mid rise Holley EFi intakes the cowl needs to be cut. It also appears that the cowl on the car in the video above has been cut.

That is not the same item the OP is asking about, that is all I could find on the web to give the OP a idea of clearance.

I see, regardless, the link provided by the op pictures the intake, it appears to be just as high if not higher in the back, it may be an illusion but I still think the cowl needs to be cut, if not, I may be the guinea pig on this, I was planning on the mid rise for my stroker but may consider this.

I have a cowl hood, no clearance issues there. If you look at Holley's web site they also say the same thing about the mid rise, some hoods may have clearance issues but mention nothing about the cowl and it definitely needs to be modified for that. They also give dimensions for the mid rise but not the sheet metal one.

Right..Dimensions would help for sure.

At least you will not have to cut your hood all up!

Thanks for all the input!! Looks like the Chinese knockoff which does clear. But like previously stated, won't know until someone tries it. Apparently Holley is no help.

There's no way I'd rock some god awful cowl hood in order to run this intake manifold. That's super unfortunate that our only real option is *still* the fast intake - which doesn't gain anything substantiating over stock (for the money) until you start going really far down the rabbit hole.

I'm thinking this one will fit under the stock hood. SOME applications will require a different hood. I don't know why they haven't installed it on a 5th Gen yet. Huge market for something like this if it fits with 0 modifications

What kind of help are you looking for? The dimensions are posted out there and I can post them here if you like.

Are these types of intakes even proven yet? Everyone claims amazing increases after install, yet it's pretty difficult to find an actual customer dyno their car, install the intake, and dyno it again. Especially these sheet metal manifolds.

Maybe I've been out the game too long? These things are hideous
