Camaro V6 S/C or T/C mods
Hello all,
I was trying to find a thread that will give me the information I was looking for but no luck, this is my first post ever so i apologize if it is not in the right format. I have a 2013 V6 camaro, my end goal is to have it S/C or T/C when i have the funds. For the time being I am doing small mods here and there, the first one was the CAI now I am planning to get the VMAX TB and a CatBack Corsa exhaust next. I found out that if i am planning to go S/C or T/C that the CAI will have to be removed. I do not want to spend double the money or go through the hassle of selling mods that are not going to be used for my end goal. My question is the following, Is there a page or a thread that states the mods that will be compatible with the T/C or S/C? Anyone that can help me with this? I plan to mod the car little by little and the install one of these 2 and like stated, i do not want to buy mods that i will not need for my end goal. Please help. |

Check out the v6 forced induction page. Tons of info . If you doing s/c mods you don't need but will work well with a s/c are full exhaust , headers , a good catch can . (Mighty Mouse )
And sum suspension mods we'll help getting that power under control . |

So for the time being while you decide on what you want to get you can always start on working on the suspension. If you want to get a full catback exhaust just make sure you don't get any hi flow cats. Cause the heat and pressure it will be a waste of money.

With having an LFX, you're in a good starting point already. Already have the LFX manifold (which something i want for my LLT/ heat soak). Like above, you cannot have headers + you either keep your OEM cats. OR gut the OEM cats, gutting them is recommended.
full exhaust, ported throttle body, suspension, weight reduction are also good things to look at.

Didt notice you where a lfx . Check out the catch can threads in the forced induction thread so you can get the right can from the start . Other then that suspension mods would be a good idea .

no problem, it means that you take out the cats...making them cat-less.
