Supercharger Isolation Coupler

My 2014, built in NOV 2013 with ~62,000 miles, supercharger is making the dreaded noise. Chevy said they will cover 40% and I have to cover the other ($2,600). Sitting at Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, FL (no issues with the dealer).

Suggestions on how to get corporate to cover the whole amount for a defective/poor designed part?

Thank you for that. I am not having trouble with mine now but I am printing that off and putting it with my paperwork for my car for future reference.

If you never touched the supercharger, they should cover the full cost of replacement. If you changed anything, they might walk.

Thanks. I have it and I did call Chevy (the dealer gave me the number) and they assigned me a case number. Chevy (not the dealer) is the one that said they would cover 40%.

If stock like you say they are supposed to cover the entire cost, just had mine done for free a month ago and mine has headers, no cats, CAI, 90mm TB and retune, they never questioned it since the SC was never touched.

Sounds like they were trying to pro-rate the repairs to account for the miles driven?

Ask the dealer when the regional service rep from GM will be at the dealer next, and meet with him/ her. If they don’t budge get a lawyer show them the doc.

I thought this was a '12 and '13 year model problem and they fixed it by 2014?

Time to get a trusted nondealer mechanic to replace the $20 coupler for you.
