That extension looks odd to me. Not only does it break up the flow of the fascia but it looks like it would add turbulence to the airflow around the car. Unless it was a brake cooling feature, I don't see it being anything other than more camo.

Yep. Can't wait to see what a sixth gen 1LE consists of and can do on a track. The new Mustang is pretty disappointing even with all the improvements. Maybe they'll step it up later in the generation. It's also great that they said that they just liked the way it drove better bedsides its superior performance on the track. Now to just pay the $600 car tax for this year and get mine back out on the road. Gonna have to swap plates with my fourth gen to get my 1LE's windshield repaired till my registration comes in.

Wow. Old, tired last-gen Camaro beats new, redesigned 'Stang. With only a 72-pound weight advantage, I'm kinda confused about the overall goals of their redesign. I'm sure they'll raise the bar with the GT350, but the GT is unimpressive. For the record, I don't dislike Mustangs -- I was going to build one out as a track-day special before Chevy announced the Z/28...

thePill is having an aneurysm right now. Probably in a fetal position in his garage stroking his Mustang's tire.

And, although I didn't care for the looks of the last 'stang, it certainly looked better than this 2-door fusion.
