That too.

If the SS is that capable in base form, with MRC, I can't wait to see the hi po version.

Yep. Avoided the hose pick up. We emptied our hose bed and are flowing out the aerial now. Fire is still burning, started around 4pm.

Is there a benefit to having the same front and rear track width? I noticed the 6th gen has a 63.1 front and rear track.

Jeez, that's a PITA... I've had a few fires over the years where we said to hell with it and set up a few platforms with remote nozzels on them and did shift change. The trucks stayed there for a few shifts too...

I hope you guys put it out soon...

Yes, in general...many vehicles have a narrower front track width than rear. By widening that, it pushes the front tires out a bit more - increasing the torque advantage that they have over the mass of the car.

This equals better handling, more responsive vehicle dynamics/turn-in.

And I can tell you the 6th gen is VERY responsive! So nimble-feeling, it's incredible.

So the 5th gen 1LE puts down better times than the new Mustang GT PP and supposedly the 6th gen SS is faster than the 1LE. Now hopefully Team Camaro has an answer for the GT350.

And who knows, they may beat the GT350 with an LT1 powered 1LE and offer more bang for the buck like they did vs the Boss with the fifth gen 1LE. The GT350R will require a Z/28, lets just hope they don't limit production like Ford did. Even a GT350 will be a rare sight on the street.

Interesting. That makes sense. I can't wait to drive the car. It sounds like a major step up.

With the SS offering such great track performance, I hope that leaves room for an even more hardcore 1LE.

The LT1 1LE would have to over come a 70+ hp disadvantage. That would be embarrassing for Ford if it was faster than the GT350.
