I still think the "nav screen" or whatever it is, looks stupid and it's not enticing at all. But that's just me. I believe it should be one of those $2200 options like on other models, and then you get to choose whether you want it or not. That way, everyone can be happy.

Anyone think they can retrofit the door lock onto it?

I've had my car for 10 months now and I've never, ever used that switch. As long as the new unit fits I could care less about the lock switch.

Every year will bring something new/better, had you purchased a 13, you'd probably want a 14. Enjoy what you have!

Have you tried the ProClip? That's what was recommended to me by another memeber here?

Already got the new Pioneer Garmin based system going in. Not interested in anything OEM where music is concerned.

None of my family wants to ride in my car because of the passenger seat still.

On-Star app, HUD, Back-Up sensors, Radio screen etc.................

Much like Apple does they seem to lead you along like a carrot in front of a donkey.

But, it is what it is. I knew what was going to happen when I bought mine early. Still glad I did though.

Some of it yes. Some, maybe. All of it would have been about 900% cheaper for me if I'd have waited.

I'll be happy if this is the biggest difference between a 12 and a 13.
