Remote Window Rollup for 2010 Camaro?

I am looking for a kit that would allow my friend to have remote window control on his Camaro. I have one on my cars, and was wondering if something like that is available for the Camaro?

Any ideas?

You mean like the Beamers? Always wanted that too but would probaly end up being a bad thing. SOmetimes i come out of my friends house to see my car with the trunk popped. I guess the buttons on the fob get pressed down while i sit or something. Imagine if my windows rolled down, would be horrible considering what my town has turned into now

Go and see a good alarm install guy. He can add the module to your car.

I wouldn't mess with it for the simple fact that the windows are Smart windows, and automatically roll up and down when you open and close door. By adding something like that you can mess up the smart window and wouldnt have the warranty because of the add on.

I think that would be a great feature to add to the car as well. All I have to do on my key fob for my Honda Accord is just press and hold down the "unlock" button and the windows roll down until I let off the button. It's great on those really hot summer days when the car has been sitting a while.

I had this on my 98 firebird, it was cool in the beginning. I think it was a code-alarm. But it did void the warranty on the window mechanisms and I always had to take it back to my alarm guy whenever I had issues with the windows. I remember the alarm guy had to add extra relays or something because it didn't always work right. I never added it to another car after that.

I added it to my Jetta and it worked fine. I really miss the feature. My Maxima had it as well.

I added a module from Top Down Technologies to my last Vette (2004) that did this. It plugged into the OBD port under the dash. Press the door unlock on the key fob three times and the windows rolled down. Up worked by the lock button. Worked perfect and you could simply unplug it for dealer service.

I'm waiting on them to make one for the Camaro.

True enough, but it would be nice to get all that hot air out of there also

I splurged and got the Formula One Pinnacle Series (ceramic) tint because of my black leather interior and I'm SOOOOO glad I did

Your windows go up and down when you close or open the door???

The only "smart" feature of the windows that I have seen is when the window senses an object is blocking it as the window rolls up, it will automatically roll back down. Most of the aftermarket kits that I have seen that the OP was looking for are very clean install and wont damage or disrupt any of the OEM functions.

Smart Windows like whats in the Corvette. Notice when door is closed, and it rolls down a little bit when you open , then rolls back up when you close it?? Thats called smart window. And if you mess up the windows, they wont roll automatically up when you shut door, and then you have voided warranty on it because you have aftermarket.
