Quick questio, whats the legal limit window tint for a car? All windows except front window ofcurse..does anyone know?

And if its different for all states, I want to know for Massachusetts. Can someone help me find out? Dont want to end up getting the 5% window tint for my camaro than be stopped constantly by a police...Thanks!

My car is at the tinters shop now. I'm doing 18% all around. 35% seems to be a waste to me.

Since our cars windows automatically come down about 1/2" upon openning the doors, how to the tinters get full coverage on those windows? Does the door panel have to come off?

Thinking of getting my done, but not sure if I should dismount the panels before bringing it in so they don't mess my car up.

There's a way to index the windows with the doors open. A experience tinter will know how to do it. You basically open the door and then hit the latch to fool the car into thinking the door was closed and the window will go all the way up.

No trim or panels were removed when my windows were tinted. And the guys who did mine were quick. I didn't watch how they did it, but I had a problem with one window, and they removed the tint and had new stuff up in less than 1/2 hour.

Seems simple to me. Wouldn't it work to start the process with the door closed and then when you get so far up the window, open the door to finish. Am I missing something?

Does any "good" tint shop have "limo" tint? OR what is the % of it?
