When I did overwrite the Trifecta tune it still had the ghost cam when I first started the car, but it went away after cycling the cruise control button. I reloaded the Trifecta tune without the ghost cam just to be safe.
My LTFT's are actually great, almost 0%. I think the tune is spot on, going to Denso ITV24's which are 2 steps colder. See if that gets rid of the final knock. |

Got my ITV 24's today, they are a lot shorter than the ITV 22's. Took a picture of the stock plugs on the left, the ITV 22's on the middle, and the ITV 24's on the right.
See how these run since this is what Mazdaspeed 3 use when they pour on the boost and their engines are also DI. If I need to go colder I can run ITV 27's. |

Up to 18 degrees of timing, 2.2 degrees of knock retard. The night I was trapping 107.6 mph I had 15/16 degrees of timing with 91/104 octane mixed. With 18 degrees of timing on just 91 octane I might be able to get the full 20 degrees with a 104 mix.
If I can no knock retard and no misfires I might be able to trap 111 or 112. That's based off my trap speed being 101 with 10 degrees of timing and 107 with 15 degrees of timing. Still waiting on the driveshaft from DSS for the Mustang. I need to have my wife racing me since I'm tired of destroying the V6 Camaro's locally. But in the meantime, if I get my stainless steel brake lines by Friday, I will be installing my Brembo brakes. If anybody is curious, I am running the V60C1C7 tune right now. It gives me a 10 AFR till 5200 RPM's then runs 11.8 AFR till redline. |

Glad to see others running v60c. Just got a new tune from Arno v60c1c15c to accommodate some mid level cold start misfires. Otherwise the V60c tunes are really making my engine sing.

So the more data we send Arno the faster the tunes get? Soon we will be trapping 150 mph.

With all the mods I had the tune that worked before didn't work on mine and Arno managed to hit the tune dead on. Too bad the PCV system needed a lot of work to get it corrected (it could have been ingesting oil and lowering the octane of the fuel) and making some minor adjustments. Also, I keep forgetting to mention this, I relocated my IAT sensor to just before the throttle blade. IAT rises about 10 degrees during a WOT run but cool right back down to ambient. |

In the words of Richard from Fast-n-Loud, GET YOU SOME OF THAT.
100% new parts for less than $1000. DOT 4 flush, Racing Brake steel lines, OEM pads, OEM rotors, and OEM calipers. Also getting the driveshaft for the Mustang on Wednesday. Soon we will see if a fully bolt-on Mustang V6 (with 3.73 gears) can keep up with a Supercharged Camaro V6. |

Track is closed tonight or I would be out there because I just did a 0-90 mph run and had 19.5 degrees of timing. Next Friday if the weather holds out I will be trying to break some records.

Your new Brembo's look great!
Let us know how you like'em and if you have any "squealing" issues. I switched my stock brakes/clutch to DOT4 (Motul) and I swear that change alone improved my pedal firmness! I'm sure with your changes, the improvement is much more dramatic! |

Thanks, they feel awesome.
No noise with my brakes, used the oem AC Delco ones too that were $35. They came with a small package of grease, so I treated the pad like a CPU and put a very thin layer on the back. Also put some on the short sides of the pads that contact the caliper. Feels like the rear end is lifted up when I slam on brakes now. Visual improvement is much better also. Also started looking at doing some Meth, see if it can help get me a few more degrees of timing. Right now my AFR is 12.5:2, from what I've read the meth will put it at a 11.5:1. Something I will look at later. |
