I may need to see if I can get an elbow connector for the throttle body and get a better clamp.
Assuming you are running a recirc valve? Is is working properly? Would hate for you to hurt something...

Yeah, its working properly, the clamp on the throttle body was worn out along with the silicon tube itself. So I did the smart thing, built a new upper intake tube:

It does look better, unfortunately it is chrome ABS. On the spectre website it says not to use on supercharger or turbocharged engines, but doesn't say that on the actual packaging. To upgrade to aluminum piping it will be expensive, the elbows are $30.

The tubes are from the throttle body to the lower pipe (all 3" diameter): 90° elbow, 6" Straight, 90° elbow, 6" Straight (4" would work better), 60° elbow, then a 3" to 2.5" reducer silicon.

Holding up so far, but from what I've read its the heat from boost that makes the ABS brittle and fall apart. My air temperature never goes above 120 degrees though. Just to be safe though I ordered aluminum pipes from multiple sources since nobody had everything at once.

I may see about replacing the entire pipe after the intercooler since it goes from 3" down to 2.5" then back to 3".

Good job, replace the spectre piping asap Also, have you thought about investing in a hump hose coupler to use at the intercooler or TB to help with the flexing?

Looking for a hump hose now. The spectre stuff just need to last a week, then I can use the pieces to test fit more hoses. Kinda taking money away from my gear upgrade but I hated the way the silicon hose looked in the engine bay.

They offer aluminum tubing, but I've been waiting 7 months just for an idler pulley and 2 spacers, I don't feel like waiting 4 years to get piping that I need now.

The spectre tubing is holding up pretty well. I also tested and I might be able to run a 3" tube all the way from the intercooler to the throttle body. Once I get my aluminum tubing I will see if I can rig it up correctly.

Just proved it, 100% gas causes massive knock retard. If you are not getting the drag times you expect try 10% ethanol. I'm trying too get no knock retard with 100% gas using methanol injection but I have too much fuel to begin with, when I introduce too much methanol I get misfiring. Hopefully Arno will answer me and get me a tune with less fuel at 3000+ RPM.

About $100 for the upper pipe. Mandrel bent tubing isn't cheap, but better than Pringles cans. Hopefully the tubes are thick enough for me to tap a 1/8 NPT for that meth nozzles.

I should have everything Friday so I will see if I can also build a lower pipe.
