RS/SS Rear Spioler Owners Reminder!

While getting something out of my trunk last night I heard something drop inside of the trunk deck. It turned out to be one of the bolts holding my RS spoiler on. The 3 other 13/32" hex bolts were also loose and about to fall off. Simple operation to pop the 4 plastic caps and tighten down. Let's not see these spoilers on the highway!

Actually there are six, two in the center under the trunk lid liner. Had to tighten mine last weekend and was lucky enough to catch it before they had fallen off completely.

Others have recommended a dab of lock tight on each after tightening, apparently some have experienced them coming loose again after being tightened.

Mine were not real tight as well (VIN 30.569) so I tightened down all 6.

Does anyone know the torque spec gm is using on the bolts. Maybe the Engineer in charge of the study needs to look at his distribution and increase the spec before any other cars get on the road.
