That and an LS7 under the hood and a Z28 badge on it?

Shaken please! I actually have seen The Mod Squad keeping their heads down low. This car looks as if it just might prove the skeptics wrong once full details are released along with the performance packages. As soon as full details are out, trust me, the kool aid drinkers (may I suggest a martini instead?) will line up elbow to elbow. If the Z/28 is released with LS7 with an "iconic" looking hood ---that screams design wise, active gill vents, race track seat options and the ZL1 arrives within "some" minor adjustment such as chill box or CAI, and for the dyed in wool troops, the 2.3 SC (stage option).
Do that and the GM and the design Gods will bless you! We do know how much of your heart and soul is in this. Without such muscularity additions the car may be accused of crossgendering. Add them and we shall line up! I'd like to see some more comments at that point! those with G5 2010-2013 keep them polished, well kept, and blemish free for long term gratification. Sip. I already have my car drawn out in my mind. It looks like the Hot Wheels show car in white. It has the front grill area and the rear taillight area blacked-out with a cobalt blue pinstripe separating the black and white. And a ZL1 hood and stripe in black again with cobalt blue pinstripe. The new front and rear will not allow for my design (highly disappointing). I could go on, but that's depressing enough.

There's still hope for the Z28 as most of the parts we don't like will most likely be different. Don't want to bring more negativity and I hope tomorrow changes my mind and makes more of yall happy.

A Z28 would make it better IF the 2013 front and rear could be added back. But that just makes it that much more $$$$$.

I'm still trying to understand revealing the car on a morning TV show 24 hours before its debut at the NY auto show.

Been a looong day. As it comes to a close I find myself with a tremendous amount of empathy for the Camaro team... imagine trying to make some design changes to the hottest thing that hit the car scene in a very very long time....
Although this design may not be wholeheartedly accepted in the current 5th gen community it will no doubt ring GM's cash register. I've treated this day with a sophomoric attitude... had some fun at the expense of this current design... But I simply cannot see an LS7 motor in this design. Having said that I hope that it's something I have to learn to live with. What a great time to be a part of the Camaro community!! tramtwo posted this on the go |
