Past the Red and sore stage...now on the peeling stage! Nose got it the worse, sunglasses where like a magnifing glass at some point...

Only place worse than AZ for sun burn is Australia. Was there in winter once and thought I can't burn its winter. My bad as it was their summer time. Having lived in the NE, NW, and SE and now in the SW I have found that I would rather take the heat than live where it is not only hot, but really, really humid like when I lived in VA and TN. Bottom line is you adjust, and I am glad no one got any worse of a burn as I have seen many from the NE and midwest come to AZ, and they get bright red then wind up in the emergency room.

I learned the mistake of no sunblock in the US Virgin Islands learning how to windsurf. Needless to say, I had 2nd & 3rd degree burns. Had to stay inside all summer on my stomach due to all the blisters. I had put spf50 on an hour prior to leaving for track and kept coating every 2 to 3 hours and I still was cooked on my neck! I hear ya - IT'S A DRY HEAT! LMAO, it was damn HOT, period! I think we all got burnt becouse we were having the time of our lives driving, living, sleeping CAMARO! Hope all are healing quickly, chapstick for lips helps heal the sunburn there....

No burns at the Fest for me..... then I walked around in Jerome and was glowing red on my forehead..... Need to grow that back.
