71 Z28

Could use some help...Im looking at a 1971 z28. The car has an assembly date of 1/71. The cowl tag show 09b -2nd week of September. I know there was a strike that year but would the dates be off that much?

I Googled 1972 Camaro production dates and found this website, nastyz28.com. Note the Aug production VIN number. Also mentioned is a strike in April of '72. Since the car your looking at is probably commanding a premium price I'd proceed with caution.
