Shipping a Camaro across country.
I have a line on a Camaro in PA . I live in Denver, Colorado :(. Ah, the wonders of the internet! So need some advice on how to get the car from there to here. Anyone have some expertise or experience at this, and any suggestions? What kind of $$ might I be looking at? Thanks for any information, guys!

Yeah, if I had the time. Can't take the time off for probably 2 weeks from work, maybe more. AND, to break it in right, I'd have to take the back roads (no interstates running a constant 70) for the first 500+ and then stop for a oil change on the way. Could do it, but would add a lot of time.
If it costs too much, I might just do it that way....but would have to wait which the whole purpose of this exercise is so I don't...;-)

i am having my camaro drop-shipped from fl to nc.
the local dealership will charge a drop-ship fee ($500 or less, apparently ), but other than that, nothing to do. just give the remote dealership the local dealership info, and they should take care of it.

I've dealt with Uship before. It's kinda like Ebay for shipping stuff. You place an ad for moving your Camaro for PA to CO and they bid on it. You can check the shippers history, ratings and insurance. Its pretty cool.

Guys, thanks a lot! With that, I should be able to arrange something. It sounded like the dealer hadn't dealt with it before. Still waiting for him to get back in touch.

Oh, right....fly you to PA to drive to CO and then fly you back to CA? Or maybe whatever you're smoking will let you fly there without a plane?

If you have an open trailer transport it, make sure they completely bubble wrap the entire car.... 30 times...
The FedEx is the safest way to do it. |
