Throttle controller

Hey,
Does anybody have any experience with a throttle
Controller?
The one I am considering is made by vittessemotorsports.
https://www.vitesse-motorsports.com/...my-vehicle.htm

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

My motor is a Camaro ss 2011 l99

You will install it, like it for a few days/weeks then it will likely start throwing codes and putting you in limp mode. Then you will sell it. A tune can get you close to the same response and would likely give you less of a headache.

Mine was on my car for almost two years without an issue. One month short of 2 years to be exact haha. I set mine to sport 5 and left it at that. I like to think that's why mine lasted so long, because I wasn't constantly tuning it and changing the parameters. But maybe I just got lucky. I did enjoy it though. After you get used to it, it can be fun. It did end up going out and going into limp mode like mentioned. Haven't gone back since

Best bet is to get your mods done first headers, tune, and TB ported first and see how you like it . I suspect you will find that you wont need the throttle controller .

I bought a $69 one on e bay. I’ve had it on for 3 months and it works fine. If you search for “Car 9H Electronic throttle controller Accelerator Speed up for CAMARO 2009-2015” you should find it.

spend the money on a ported throttle body and get the car tuned to reduce the pedal to tb delay and you're set.

There are extensive long long posts on this subject...…..the vitesse looks exactly like ones made in China BTW... and yes can cause problems, if building in the future also it is not really that needed...... but more of a thing to deal with the delay of the potentiometer in the pedal drive by wire. Frankly having traction is a problem you develop when built, I know a l99 is more lethargic un built I owned one.... and you may want to play with one just to be able to burn out more.... good luck.

Had mine 2 years. Not a single issue or code. I dial it up and down routinely per driving situation.
