Haven't done much to the car in awhile other than drive it... however, over the last 2 or 3 weeks I went on a small shopping spree..

First, I picked up some BMR toe rods and trailing arms from a forum member. They were pretty much brand new.

Then ordered some drag radials a few days ago and waiting for them to arrive now.

I bought some Hendricks offset differential bushings a few months back and they had just been sitting on my workbench.

So, last weekend we set out to get the new parts put in. Got the toe rods and trailing arms swapped out last weekend and then did the diff bushings last night.

The car feels more solid in the rear now and can really feel a difference in the shifts.

Yup. I went with the poly versions but there is still a noticeable whine. No biggie though.

Ive really enjoyed reading this build thread. I also have a 2014 SS and I am looking to do the z28 grill. Anything special needed to install the grill and flowtie? I see that the chrome bezel around the headlights looks weird with the new grill nothing else you can do besides wrap it in CF tape?

My apologies jerseytaylor. I somehow missed your question/request. Do you still need pics? And just the front clip?

Nothing special for the grill install other than pulling the front fascia off. That’s not to bad though.

On the headlight bezels, you can remove them when while the fascia is off and leave them off or have them painted black or even color matched to your car. I like the carbon look so that’s why I wrapped mine.

So, it's been awhile since I last posted.. Not much has taken place other than driving it

Now, since its gotten cold out I decided to put her up on stands and get some stuff done thats been bugging me.

When doing the cam/converter swap we pulled the front fascia off and tweaked the adhesive (glue & tape) that holds the front wheel flares on. I have been been nursing this with 3M tape since and now is a good time to get those fixed!

You can see the separation between the flare/fender below

Now that the right flare is off, time to start removing the glue.. This stuff (3M BetaLink K1) is tough!

Only thing left on the flare is the 3M tape & that will come off easily with Goo Gone.

More to come!

The 3M adhesive remover and cleaner were made just for that! Works very well. Autozone, et.al. should have it, Amazon for sure...

Red can is the cleaner and will remove without harming paint. Use a fish line to remove most of the adhesive then the cleaner does the rest..

Got the left side fender flare removed, it was a little on the stubborn side but just took my time and worked with it until it was off.

While I was looking around I noticed that the molding on the CAI had worked it sway loose. I will add that to the list of things to fix while she is in the air.

Didn't have time to check the auto parts store for the 3M adhesive remover/cleaner today but will try and get that done tomorrow.

I have the intake off at the moment to put on Holley fuel rails. Decided to attempt putting carbon wrap on the intake cover.

Took about two hours of patience from me while my wife helped with holding the hairdryer and trying not to burn me while putting this stuff on..

Here it is finished.
