Thumbs up Long Live Camaro5.com

So I recently inherited a 2011 SS M6. It wasn't well cared for but it has lots of potential and is now my side project. Really enjoying the car and looking forward to what I can do with it. Main point of this post, though, is that I'm rather thankful for this forum. I have found an absolute wealth of information between specs, DIY instructional, and some rather helpful people. I know it's not really as active as it once was, so I pray it never goes away. And if there must be some new incarnation, don't lose the info. There's so much here.

^^^ lol, like me?? hehe. Yea I whole heartedly will agree with this. This forum and every single subsection is worth it's weight in gold!! More so, priceless!! When I bought my 2011 Camaro SS/RS I learned WAY MORE on here than even my Chevey sealership knew about my car!! Even the "performance" tech that worked on the Vettes and Camaro's didn't know what I learned on here, and that really pissed him off, so I just didn't go there anymore!! lol. Hope this website NEVER goes stale... And all you cool, caring and sharing guys, and gals, keep up the great work!!!

Definitely a good place to hang out. The bar fights aren’t as plentiful and entertaining as they once were but I still enjoy it just the same.

I lurked here for several years before I bought my car and actually joined.

to all....this place IS PRICELESS. It is now, and it always has been. I have been here for 12 years, and as one of you mentioned, especially in the beginning, we had so much valuable information here WAY before the dealers did. you may have to dig around a bit....but there isn't much that you can't find here on this site.

I used this site for everything on my car. Even led me to do a diy camshaft swap last summer.

Yeah I'm an old school mechanic with all carburetor stuff . I built three small blocks like 15 years ago, two Chevy's and a high hp Oldsmobile. So I was very mechanically inclined when I got here but totally new to ls's. When I came to this site I didn't know anything about a ls. I can now say with the help of you guys and all the information on this site, I feel very comfortable working on a ls engine now and have even dove into the likes of tuning now as well. I would like to personally thank all of you that have helped me along the way.
Thanks
Joe

Starting threads and asking questions leads to many people to learn things. So even if you don’t k I was much as others you can always ask questions and then everyone learns.
