A few mods

Been working on a few mods, a couple cosmetic and a couple performance-oriented.

Performance: CAI intake, JDM scoop, Rotofab washer tank relocate, Elite catch can, 1LE oil separator installed

Cosmetic: ZL1 side skirts and rear splash guards, black Camaro badges, custom rear bowtie, heritage grille with SS emblem

I think all I have left cosmetically is I'm planning to add the convertible rear spoiler painted black like my 1LE spoiler.

A few pics:

Very nice with the mods. The car looks sweet I'm sure in Iowa you have a few places that you can stretch her legs out a bit Have you noticed any difference with the CAI?

Also can I ask where you got your Grille. I have a blacked out 1LE. I want to add some accents like you have. Also I want that grille! Is looks so clean. What do you think about red bowties for the rims?

Couldn't tell any difference what-so-ever with the CAI. It does look good though!

My plan is for a cam and headers over next winter. The CAI will compliment those mods, so it's more about the future plans than current results.

I'm sure on a dyno or maybe at the track I'd see some slight improvement but my butt dyno isn't sensitive enough to notice a 10-15hp improvement on a 426hp engine.

Gary's Customs. He's a sponsor vendor on the forum.

The grille is a GM part that you can get from a forum sponsor or local GM dealer. If you get it painted, it comes with a bowtie; if you get it unpainted then it does not. I got mine painted but removed the bowtie and added the SS emblem from my stock grille.

Did you have any trouble installing the CAI with the 1LE oil separator? I though I read about an interference / need to modify things in a different thread.

Looks very nice. Love the ZL1 rockers.

I got those for mine too, now if they would only ship my car so I can actually drive it and get these parts installed ha ha
