Stock tune after cam install help please

Can I drive from my garage to my tuner? He is about 3 hours away. It is a Brian Tooley stage 2 cam. Headers will be installed at the same time. Thank you

Not a good idea at all. You will see after the cam gets installed it will idle and that's about it. It will die everyone you push the clutch in

Not 100% true....it will idle and want to die on you but if you give it enough gas you can get it up and going no problem, only thing you don't wanna do is drive it rough. Meaning don't start driving and shifting at high rpm, shift at 2-3k and you will be fine. My buddy and me drove from yuma to Phoenix ( 3hrs roughly) and had no issues at all but you run through gas fast because it is not tuned. Just giving you my personal situation ($0.02)... If you can tow it, go for it but you don't have too.

You can do it. Might be a bitch at times but can be driven.

Its been done tons of times. Just depends on your skill of keeping an engine running that doesn't want to run lol. The more aggressive the cam the worse it will be.

if you have HPT, you can have your tuner send you a start up file to get you there with less aggravation.

Pay for the gas and get a buddy with a truck and a trailer.

.....and bad for your cats the longer you drive it like that, unless you think about these things in advance, and go cat-less for that bit longer .
