Correct, this is not for your car, only for computer streaming. I always get a 6 months $30 deal for the car when I call them to cancel the service but no gift card. Just renewed it a couple of weeks ago. They try to talk you into a 1 year $100+ deal but if you keep saying that's too expensive and you wanna cancel the subscription, they always offered me the $30 deal.

This reminds me of AOL some 15+ years ago. Every month I try to cancel, I get another month free.

I was honest with Sirius XM, but they kept trying to call me.

They asked if I wanted to renew. I said no, not interested even if it was free, I've tried all the channels and I can't find anything that I use.

They didn't take me off the call list. Had to tell them 2 more times that if it were free, I'd still not renew. They kept trying to sweeten the deal by lowering the price.

I do like the clarity of the radio, just too many channels, and not a lot of good content.

Agree but I wish the DJs would STFU and just play the music. Why do they even need DJs at all? Just load up the play list and let er rip.

I don't have the Bose system but with XM, it sounds pretty good. With FM, not so much.

I tried giving Sirius XM a chance. To me it’s like a big bag of trail mix... that has one m&m for every five handfuls. Have to chew through too much to get to what you want.

I only drive with the radio on half the time. I enjoy road noise sometimes, gives time to think.

I like your analogy. Then when you finally get an M&M, it's half eaten. They need to queue up the music like Tivo so you can skip the commercials and rewind. I think I would be willing to pay $1 - $2 per month. The only time its useful is if you are bored and on a road trip.
