Cam and Supercharger

Any practical advantage to doing both of these at the same time (as far as installation goes)?

Which one would you do if you only did cam or SC? I think it really depends on what type of SC you are planning to go with.
The only main thing I can think of would be only needing 1 tune. But again, just depends on where you want to end up.

Looking for ~600-650 hp at the wheels. If I do them one at time I'd probably do the supercharger first.

I had same dilemma, I went with SC and wanted to see what that gave me and decide if I wanted more after that. I do want more, but that is a different story.

With LT headers and a SC and fuel upgrade you won’t be far off of 600.

If you do both I would think you would be better off with Janetty or someone that sells both and has a lot of experience with both for the tune.

Thanks. To be honest (at this point in time) I mostly want the cam for that beautiful chop! The extra hp is just a bonus for me.

Sadly I can only get 90 octane here (at least as far as have been able to find) so all the cool fuel system upgrades are a no-go.

Is E85 available up there at all?

If you do the SC first, don't you have to remove it to install the cam at a later date? Why pay for labor twice? Not to mention the tune.

That is the kind info I was looking for! It will save me the extra effort as I plan on doing the work myself (except tune of course).

It would seem not. I've asked around and tried internet searches to no avail.

If you're going to do both anyway, it is cheaper to do both at the same time. Many of the parts you need to remove overlap with the two installs so you'll save a bunch on labor if you do the cam and the supercharger at the same time.

That would seem to be the logical choice. Thanks!
