Quick question, since beech bend will only be a one day event this year, is it possible to make it one big test n tune day?? Probably a little late to ask but with it only being one day and being the last cfest for now, maybe get rid of the classes and just have fun runs all day and end some of those grudges. Probably was asked a few pages before, just seems like a good idea especially if it’s a great turnout for this one.

What most don't realize is all the class based runs ARE actually test and tune if they treat it that way and just go run. When your class is called for qualifying that's your time to run with Test and Tune in-between. Folks get caught up in not wanting to compete but realistically the actual Eliminations don't take that much time.

Another issue is those that just want to test and tune don't pay attention to what's going on at the track and miss the times. We always open things up to test and tune and that's not the time to be timid and wait. just go for it.

That being said, I am eliminating all but 2 classes and we will do Index Racing. Which is based on how fast your car runs and which one you want to enter. 10.5, 11.5, 12.5, 13.5 14.5 What this means is if your car runs 12.0 then you would enter the 11.5 class. Will be heads up racing and as long as you don't run faster than 11.5 and beat the other guy to the finish you win and move on. This makes it very simple and will move things along quickly.

We are also extending the race time into the evening this year.

More to come on Drag Racing when I open up that thread.

I see all the previous posts where people have bought their tickets already, however, when I go to CamaroFest.Org andtry to purchase them, it says they will go on sale 26 February 2021. Am I going to the correct location?

Thanks,
Scott

Not one single ticket has been sold.

You are probably looking at Fest X that was cancelled and everyone was refunded last year.

Hey guys, I have quick question about the NCM before I buy the tickets. This will be my first time doing NCM but my car is pretty much catless with no mufflers. Would my car be considered a issue for this track? Have anyone else ran a setup like this? I assume so.

Yes and no. You WILL have to meet the noise requirement. For NCM its 103db. My Z has headers, catless mid-pipes, and factory NPP mufflers. I get black flagged if I rev the car out to 7000+ RPMs for noise (104db). As long as I short shift, the car will not exceed the allowable limit. They will give you one warning before you will be forced to park and not be allowed back out.
