Talking LED DRL before and after

Today we installed 5000K LED DRL bulbs (DIYP13W755000K) and the DRL harness (DIYDR1) to keep the DRL's on with the headlights on Paul's car.

Man! What a big improvement!

From a cosmetic standpoint it looks a lot better but also in the shop with the overhead lights off you could immediately see more light.

how close is the color? i have the plasma oracle bulbs and though they are a big improvement over the stock halogens from some angles they are to blue/ purple for my linking. I think I might have to order a set of these.

How can I order a set of those bulbs for the DRL's and the fog lights on my ZL1?

5000k lights would be just ever-so-slightly bluer than the HID headlamps, right? 4300k is the way to go for an exact match?

It's up for debate to be honest. I think 5000K matches, but some people say the same thing as you - it's slightly bluer.

I've been told 5000k is the best match.
I'll find out in a few days!
